FILELLU comes from the word filello, pronounced with our dialect cadences, referring to the plot named in the cadastral maps, precisely because of its particular elongated and narrow shape.

De-stemming and soft pressing, subsequent fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks with short pumping over. Maceration for 15 days and after racking the wine remains for 12 months on large oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red with bitter reflections. When lightly poured, light truffle aromas are expressed, followed by a triumph of red fruits (cherries) and spices (pepper).  The attack is soft with tannins expressed in the middle of the mouth, but without aggression. The wine has a good acidity. Persronasal persistent aromas with spices and red fruits.

Food pairing:

Important red meats, game and aged cheeses
