Tasting Notes

The color is pure gold, almost amber. The bouquet is dense with aromas, including candied fruit, almonds and hazelnuts dipped in honey, with a background of medicinal herbs, given by botrytis.

A slight twist of citrus fruit anticipates warmer and more sensual sensations of spices and fruit jam. The extreme clarity of expression of the bouquet is its main characteristic, what makes this wine really special.

The great length on the palate is of perfect aromatic precision and is composed of immediate softness, stimulated by light sapidity and a well balanced acidic line. During the closing phase, it vibrates with a subtle bitterish with hints of carnation flowers and spices.

Tarts, dry pastries, cream puffs, ricotta pies, apple pie with vanilla cream and blue cheeses such as Stilton, Roquefort and Blu del Monviso.
