A dessert wine exclusively made from Yellow Moscato grapes. Its name, Il Gelso di Lapo (Lapo’s mulberry), tells about a place in the heart of the estate: a large mulberry tree among the vineyards, where their dog, Lapo, used to laze.

HARVEST PERIOD: hand-picking of grapes in the middle of September. Grapes are laid down in cases and put in a ventilated and refrigerated room for the drying.

VINIFICATION: grapes dry out in cases for about three months at a controlled temperature. After reaching about a 400 g/l sugar concentration, thy are mashed and pressed. Once a quick cold clarification is done, the must begins the fermentation process in barriques and tonneaux barrels. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, wine is cooled and sulphites are added.
